OMG!

Great stuff in the news this week. Firstly, news that the atheist alliance have paid for a poster campaign on London Buses, with the slogan "There's probably no God. Now stop worrying and enjoy your life.

Made me chuckle deep down. A tiny drop in the ocean compared to of years of propaganda from the spook squad, but a chuckle none the less.

Then came the reaction, "People don't like being preached at" said Steven Green of Christian Voice. I laughed until it hurt.

Just come home from rescuing a tub of a fishing boat. I had a hoot of a time, did the tow set up etc. All went well.

An old Swansea Pilot cutter & schooner. I had a hoot of a time, was one of the boarding party, radio op, and then stern bit man on the return to the slip. All went well.

Today is the anniversary of:-
331 BC – Alexander the Great of Macedon defeated Darius III of Persia at the Battle of Gaugamela, and was subsequently crowned "King of Asia" in a ceremony in Arbela.

And my set book for the next book club - Alexander the great by Robin laine fox arrived today.
