CHEETING AT ST. HELENS?

OLD

the newly refurbished St. Helens stadium in Swansea. The new home of The Ospreys, Swansea RFC, and Swansea University. We fancied going to see how the re-development of the ground added to the place I used to go with my Grandfather, and crawl under the turnstile to avoid paying, has changed.

I was looking forward to seeing the "designated fan zone with a retractable roof feature and enhanced hospitality options acting as the main matchday focal point" Interesting.

Tickets seem to be £30 for adults, quite cheap compared to the Prem.

NEW

The match was advertised as the first game under floodlights in the new stadium, with Swansea RFC going head to head with Cardiff RFC. I still remember when these were the 2 best sides in Wales.

Hot off the presses, Toyota Cheetahs will be playing their URC home games @ St Helens. How a team from Bloemfontein, the Capital of South Africa, chose Swansea eludes me.

The rosta includes several Springboks, notably Faf de Klerk. Playing @ St. Helens? Perhaps...
