Maggies farm
My aunt, Margaret, stayed here for her first 3 years living in London. 13b Sydney place, borough of Kensington and Chelsea. She shared the flat with a girl from home, Rhiannon, whose mum bought the flat. Margaret rented a room for £3. That's the window of her room. Later, Rhiannon dropped her boyfriend the bank trainee for a young aspiring writer from Swansea, Llewellyn Thomas. Apparently his dad did poems & stuff. He wasn't as successful as his dad, & made a living copyrighting for J W Thompson, on some big campaigns when he Wasn't in the pub. L took a dislike to Doug, Margaret's boyfriend, who only thought about flying and didn't do arty stuff, and was therefore a wanker.
So, Margaret moved out into a flat in Cheyney walk, with some other young things. Quite a Chelsea gal.
