The Spanish word "Mahou" (as in the beer brand) is pronounced "MAH-oo". Think of it like "ma" as in the first part of "mama" and then add a "oo" sound as in "moon". It's a basic word in Spanish, especially in Madrid. 

You may now pronounce it like a true Madrilleño

I seem to remember that you could buy 3 star (tres estrellas) or 5 star (cinco estrellas) back in the day, although the internet has no trace. Perhaps I was dreaming.
