AudioConverter Studio

Wondering how to convert Flac files to MP3's? look no further than AudioConverter Studio

A nifty little programme that effortlessly converts with the click of a button.

I found some stuff on the net, but it was in a "FLAC" format. I had no idea what it was, so Wiki'd it:-

Free Lossless Audio Codec (FLAC) is an audio compression codec primarily authored by Josh Coalson and Ed Whitney. FLAC employs a lossless data compression algorithm; a digital audio recording compressed by FLAC can be decompressed into an identical copy of the original audio data. Audio sources encoded to FLAC are typically reduced to 50–60% of their original size.[2]

I downloaded AudioConverter Studio from Here, which also gave nifty instructions on how to proceed.

Moments later, I had my FLAC files in MP3 format. Niiiiiiice.

The trial version was good, but only allowed 10 files to be converted at a time. I'm now toying with the idea of shelling out some hard earned to buy the full version. Having a quick noodle around, it looks as if it plays lots of different format files, and burns CD's, too. It has a nice clean interface, and is quick to pick up how to do what you want.
