How to reset the service indicator on a Renault Espace Mk4
For me to remember, and for others to find - I couldnt find it out from t'internet, so here goes:-
1. Switch off engine
2. Replace the keycard, and rapidly push button "A"*
3. When the spanner icon flashes, push button "A"*again, until the service interval, 18000 shows on the display
4. Keep the button held for 2 seconds, after the spanner icon stops flashing
& Voila!
Job done
* - Button "A" is the one on the end of the right hand control stalk on RHD vehicles.

I have a problem with a Renault Scenic "Check parking break" How do I reset that? Thanks.
you need to find a friendly Renault garage, & have them look it up on the computer.
Hi,
The original instructions didn't work for me on my Espace. What did was:
With keycard in, push button A until the 'Service now due' shows in the display.
Push and hold button A. After a while the 'Service now due' starts to flash. Keep the button held in. After a while the display changes to 'Service in 18,000 miles' and flashes. At this point let go of button A. Job done.
